The mission of the Florida Code Compliance Association (FCCA) is not exclusive to code compliance inspectors and code compliance agencies, but extends to any individual or organization who participates in and supports the administration and formulation of enforcing laws, ordinances, or regulations relating to building safety and ensuring public health, safety, and welfare. The Florida Code Compliance Association (FCCA) began as a concept during the COVID-19 Pandemic Shutdown in 2020, as a solution to providing online alternatives for code compliance inspectors to receive formal training for code compliance certifications in Florida.
Founded by a group of code compliance inspectors with a passion for what they do and love for the code compliance field, FCCA officially launched in 2025, with the mission and purpose of helping others in their personal and professional development and of building safer, stronger communities. FCCA accomplishes this mission and purpose by providing innovative web-based training, agency accreditation, and networking opportunities for professionals across the industry.
FCCA’s web-based training is designed to offer accessible and affordable training to all, regardless of where you are in your career journey, and progressively builds on your learning as you develop your career. FCCA’s agency accreditation program offers accessible, affordable accreditation with standards developed to be achievable for both large and small agencies, helping ensure a uniform level of professionalism across all accredited code agencies in Florida and increasing confidence in the code compliance profession.
