FCCA Professional Certifications

FCCA Certification Programs

The Florida Code Compliance Association (FCCA) offers comprehensive and professional web-based training and development programs comprising of four certification courses. These web-based courses are entirely online and available  to active FCCA members.

  • Fundamentals of Code Compliance
  • Code Compliance Safety & Risk Awareness
  • Administrative Aspects of Code Compliance
  • Legal Aspects of Code Compliance 


In addition to the web-based certification courses offered, the Florida Code Compliance Association (FCCA) offers four advanced certification levels for higher learning that that are available to active FCCA members, offer nationally recognized and highly respected certifications, and can be completed entirely online with the completion of web-based courses offered by the International Code Council (ICC).  

  • Code Compliance Inspector (CCI)
  • Code Compliance Specialist (CCS) 
  • Code Compliance Professional (CCP)
  • Code Compliance Master (CCM)

Code Compliance Inspector (CCI)

FCCA Code Compliance Inspector (CCI) Certification Requirements

1. Successfully complete FCCA Fundamentals of Code Compliance.

2. Successfully complete FCCA Code Compliance Safety & Risk Awareness.

3. Successfully complete FCCA Administrative Aspects of Code Compliance.

4. Successfully complete FCCA Legal Aspects of Code Compliance.

5. Complete the FCCA Code Compliance Inspector (CCI) Application.

6. Code Compliance Inspectors may use the initials “CCI” on business cards following their name and showcase their achievement with a verified digital badge to highlight their expertise and commitment to excellence.


FCCA Certification Fee

$50 


Recertification

To maintain your FCCA certifications, you must maintain a current annual FCCA membership. There is no CEU/CEH requirement. 

Code Compliance Specialist (CCS)

FCCA Code Compliance Specialist (CCS) Certification Requirements

1. Successfully obtain your FCCA Code Compliance Inspector (CCI) Certification.

2. Successfully complete the ICC Code Enforcement Technician Exam (ID: CE-T).

3. Successfully complete the ICC Property Maintenance & Housing Inspector Exam (ID: 64).

4. Complete the FCCA Code Compliance Specialist (CCS) Application.

5. Code Compliance Specialists may use the initials "CCS" on business cards following their name and showcase their achievement with a verified digital badge to highlight their expertise and commitment to excellence. 


Testing

5. Code Compliance Masters may use the initials "CCM" on business cards following their name and showcase their achievement with a verified digital badge to highlight their expertise and commitment to excellence. 


Testing
